[sblock]Yeah, it was pretty obvious where this was going from the last comic. And given the two prophecies mentioned in the other thread (I had forgotten all about the one where he brings disaster) it's also not hard to see that the dwarven kingdom is in for a bad time. High level vampire cleric? It's not like they're going to have anybody with Sun domain down there :P

But this has grave consequences for the order as well. I think it's safe to say that Raise Dead won't work, unless it only counts the time from when vampire Durkon is put down. I think it counts from the moment Malach killed him in this strip. So, how many other clerics with Resurrection is there in this campaign? And how is the order going to survive without their cleric until (or if) they get Durkon back?[/sblock]

I am torn between really liking this new development and being extremely disappointed in yet another distraction from the gates. It's been about six years now (IRL) since the battle at Azure city, and my long-term interest is on it's last legs. The side stories, backgrounds, and prophecies are beautiful additions to a storyline, but they're no substitute for central plot.

More or less exactly how I feel, Desert Gled.

I am loving the strip, and Rich has been posting alot lately... Honestly, it took way too long to get Roy back to normal, and now Durkon-> The one who could fix this.

I will repeat my thoughts from the thread on the previous strip as this applies to this strip too (possibly even more so):

Rich, if you're reading this thread, you suck!

And I mean that in the nicest possible way.

But you still suck! :P

Last strip was bad enough, this is just twisting the knife! :)

Olaf the Stout

P.S. Rich, you still suck.
