Is it just me or are others having trouble getting to the site? I've had trouble all day.

The past couple comics have been attracting so much attention that the Giant's site can't handle it all, even by disabling the forums for the time. Generally give it a few tries and you'll get it.

I think it might be time to buy a couple books from Rich so he can afford to upgrade his server.

Actually I think he need two hosting accounts on separate servers in separate locations. One for the comics and one for the rest of the site.
