Open Audition: Art for Atlantis

Sir Elton

First Post
I'm looking for some Artists willing to let me have a gander at their galleries. I'm doing an RPG book on ATLANTIS for BESM d20, and I'm looking for Manga/Anime artists of a particular quality. Nothing silly, mind you.

What I'm looking for is something like Miyazaki's art. Miyazaki is probably one of the only Manga Artists I've experienced whose art can stand side by side with Tom Lockwood.

As Atlantis progresses I'll have to know who I can call on to do inside graphic design. So far, it looks like I'm doing a 240 pg book. So I'll need to look at a variety of artists. :)

I haven't got much overt manga-style work on there, but my webcomic (and assorted subpages) should demonstrate my ability and experimental inclination. I'd be very interested in such a project, and the possible research involved (I don't know what visual styles you'd be looking for exactly, but Atlantis isn't going to look generic now, is it?).

Nope. Atlanteans don't run around in pants and kurbul. I recommend that you go watch Troy. In fact, I recommend you visiting this site, slash. The first part talks about Brad Pitt, but look down a little further, and they talk about the Greek Armies in Mycenaean times.

Based on your webcomic, your style is a bit too cartoonish for what I want. But if you don't mind making a page background or border, then maybe we have something to discuss. My email is atlantean _ 6 at hotmail dot com.
