I would like to illustrate the Monstrous Crawdad. I have been doing technical illustration for the EPA for about two years now, and guess what...they're all crawdads! This should be fun.

I'll come up with some things. I'm a little unsettled by combining gaming with New Orleans, but that's more because I'm running a modern game now. I started the game back in May (real time), and it was set in late October this year (game time). In the game, the party spent several days in New Orleans, adventured, and experienced a city that wouldn't actually exist in the real world by that time.

I got a lot of ideas from this thread. There's an, um, rather poignant picture toward the end of the thread.

We're accepting pieces for modern games as well as fantasy. The combination of fantasy rp sensibility and N'awlins flavor is almost purely humorous, although so far we've got a lot of pieces that can be of practical use to fantasy (and modern) GM's.

We've chosen to celebrate the flavor of New Orleans because in our humble opinion that city will not be lost forever to the ravages of Katrina. It will be rebuilt, whatever's left of its history will be preserved, and regardless of the darkness that's settled over it now it remains an important contributor to the style and culture of not just the US but the world.
