Incredible response

If the consumer response is equal to the freelancer interest this thing is going to be big.

We have enough stuff proposed to do multiple monster and adventure books which is fine by me. So keep those proposals coming.

lots of great names with published credits already associated with the project. Very exciting.

Hmmmm

Lots of submission guidelines for writers, but I don't see any for artists. Is that an oversight, or do you just assume we artists will toss you an e-mail and point you at our portfolios? (Mine's in the link in my sig, btw, hehe)

Sounds interesting though.

curious

I am curious about this, and after reading the website guidelines, I have a question for whoever is in charge of this:

Do you want us to follow a specific format for sending in submissions to you, either adventures or monsters, in a specific order or just whatever we come up with that will fit for a 1000 word submission? I would feel more comfortable following a specific format that you would like it to be than just something that might seem random. If that makes any sense?

Guidelines?

I'd like to second the sentiment for further guidance on format. I found the instructions on the website somewhat lacking. In addition there are no forms, nda's, or other legal preperations for this project. I'm not questioning the legitmacy of the project at all, I'm just wondering where the guidelines for format, style, and content are.

Just wondering if this will be coming soon?

To Wolvorine: Thanks for the heads up. I have included artist submission guidelines which basically just asks for links to online galleries or samples.

To Earthshadow and robotron666:
We try to keep things loose around here as to delivered format. You give us a word document and a bunch of jpegs and we make it a book. If you need more than that or if I'm missing the point then feel free to use Wizards of the Coast's submission guidlines for questions of format or style. We want your content to follow the generally accepted d20 model. Make sure boxed text, sidebars, etc. are clearly defined.

As to nda's, contracts and other legal considerations:
I am working on them. My apolgies, I meant to have them dne but wanted to get the open call out before Gen Con. I truly didn't anticipate the response. I should get them posted soon.

Will the monsters and adventures be released as OGC (in whole or in part)?

If so, how will the section 15 of the OGL look like then? I am assuming it will have individual entries for each contributing author, adventure title, and copyright info?

Should the freelancer concern himself with what aspects of his adventure or monster is OGC, or will the publisher be making the determination?
