I'll second this. The behind the scenes things, variants, etc. that are in the sidebars (and not OGC) are really worthwhile. I really like the sidebar on the fractional saving throws and attack bonuses (showing all the little steps and offering it as an alternative to the existing system). There are a lot of cool discussions about how the variant rules might affect your game and things that are well worth the cost of purchase.
