Opinions on 3.5 conversions to Books of Eldritch Might

I bought and liked Monte Cook's Book of Eldritch Might I, II and III, especially the third one. I got them in PDF form. Now Monte has 3.5 conversions of these for sale. The price for the conversions is not high, but still, before deciding to buy them, I was wondering if anyone who got the conversions could share if they are worth buying. I guess my main question is whether they are substantive conversions where Monte Cook went through the spells and changed them whenever he could figure that the 3.5 folks at WOTC would have changed the spell if it had been a spell in the Player's Handbook. Or is it just a mechanical conversion of terminology such as changing "1 action" to "1 standard action" for casting times etc. I know Monte did not agree with some of the 3.5 changes, such as lowering duration of buff spells. That's why I want to make sure what kind of 3.5 conversion he did before I buy these. Any opinions?
