Orc & Pie

'Expedition to Orc and Pie' is scheduled for 3rd quarter release in 2008.
Some spoilers:
1) Although the adventure still has just one encounter and one room, because of the new encounter format the adventure is now 32 pages long. A two pages are spent describing in detail the skill checks provoked by the dusting of flour in one part of the room, and the spilled vegetable oil in another.
2) The orc is now a unique Orkin Pie Ranger Rager Baker with 1000 hp and a unique artifact level rolling pin.
3) The pie is no longer essential to the quest. Because you know, it's not about the pies.
4) A pool of lava has been placed in the room just inside the door. All the walls drip blood. You know, just to up the intensity.
5) Six demons have been added to the room. One lives inside the pie. The new hook for continuing adventures is a demonic pie baking cult.
6) There are suggestions on how to reuse the encounter at least three times, with more powerful Bakers with more hit points and stronger energy resistances and heavier fruiter pies.
