What a great dying line. It wasn't filled with ego or malice or failed promises, just a simple statement which carries so much meaning.

Ditto.

It's fun to watch the debate in the #406 thread, and I wonder how many people discussing that will continue in that thread/port over to this one to discuss/argue the results in that strip.

Oh, and for Shojo
I don't think he'll be raised. Hinjo may opt to let him stay dead & be remembered as an honorable leader by the people rather than be disgraced by the trial that would've taken place if it weren't for Miko. Or, Shojo's too far advanced in age for the Raise Dead to work (well), or his soul may reject being brought back (since the soul of the deceased has a say whether it wants to return to life or not)
.

I also think
Hinjo's a smart cookie--I think Xykon's attack may help him realize how Soon's code has helped lead things to the invasion of Azure City, rather than protect it. Soon seemed too Miko-ish in mindset to admit that his way could be wrong--he also was motivated more by revenge than anything else (with his beloved's death). I think Hinjo may not care for the OotS after this, but I don't think he'll equate them with the pure nastiness of Xykon and his forces like Miko did. And, anyone who could make a high enough Knowledge (religion) check could probably tell him that liches have phylacteries, which is why the OotS thought they destroyed Xykon but hadn't
.

pwnd! Best. Strip. Evar.

Finally the debate may cease.

Miko lost her paladin powers (we don't know if she can atone or not yet).

It takes time to die in the OoTS world (the Xs in the eyes finally appeared).

Of course if the whole Belkar isn't evil argument taught us anything, is that people will argue anyways. :p
