Heh. I figured the arrows almost hitting a handful of people was just Rich's way of taking a friendly jab at all the people discussing the question of who it was going to hit. :D

Oh yes. Looking at the giant's forums by curiosity, I saw this thread and it made the strip funnier.

Looks like the prophecy didn't try hard enough this time... :p

if only that arrow had richocet to a hillarious conclusion....

Well, it did!

Also, methinks V really should read through the Monster Manual a bit more.. Goblins, Hobgoblins and yes, even Bugbears, have an average intelligence. They're not stupid as a rule.

and now animating that pile increases the number of undead.

edit: i also like how the Death knight ripped his clothes. but that's just the religious side of me this weekend

Lots of players think that way.

A fighter PC got his butt handed to him by kobolds in 2e; he complained that kobolds aren't that smart. Int 8-10 isn't stupid.

Well V is both smart and egotistical, hir probably thinks anything less than a 14 or 15 to be stupid. V was at 18 a few levels ago (when they met the squid thingy) and the only member of the OOTS V has shown any intellectual respect for is Roy, who while not an 18 is probably around 14-15.

Actually, I expected the arrow to not hit anyone when I read 435. So, I was close, but still sort of right.

Well, considering there are now some clerics sitting at the breach, I have a feeling that the undead will pose a challenge, but probably not that big of one. Well, other than the death knight. We shall see.

Wouldn't that mass enlarge person wear off in a few minutes (13, to be exact)? And the mass bear's endurance and mass bull's strength. The potions of heroism would last a bit longer, but they can't hold it all day.

Perhaps, but 13 minutes=130 rounds. That's a lotta combat.

V is an elf. A pretentious elf. So, naturally, V thinks everything that's not an elf is stupid -- including the humans he's talking to. And you should read what he had to say about Halfling intelligence...

As far as V is concerned, s/he is the most intelligent creature in the universe, the rest of the elves are tied for the second place, and everything else, from gods to cockroaches, are a very distant third place.

ALL elves have that exact same mindset.
