Notice how Rich is playing with the audience? You can't see Roy's eyes in the last panel so you can tell if there are X's there.

I hope he's just knocked into negatives. Given Roy surrendered in the previous panel, and Thog ignored it, he could have just broken the rules of the Arena and given Tarquin an excuse to have him executed, since we know Tarquin really wants him dead.

Oh, and I do realize I put a typo in the thread title, but I can't edit that after it's posted, I already tried.

I thought the disarm + prone from last panel was just for dramatic effect. Instead, it turned out to be the deciding factor in why Thog was able to so throughly curbstomp Roy...

I don't even mind the punching across the arena into a wall thing. A Barbarian / Frenzied Berserker (which Thog BETTER be to pull that off w/o any hint of being a bear) with Reckless Rage and the like can get their str high enough for me to believe that. But that last panel in the previous comic having an actual mechanical effect is total bs.

I was saying that too, at least about 1:1 matches. Considering Roy beat away Thog the last time they had a "duel"... For once, the Linear Guild looks like they'll actually have a chance of winning.
