Oriental Weaponry?

First Post
Hey there everyone.

I was hoping someone could point me to a list of stats for oriental weapons that is OGL compliant. Is there such a list? (looking for 3.X d&d).

If no OGL list, what is the best source for such weapons.

Thanks in advance.

Legends of the Samurai's chapter 4 (equipment) is entirely open content. It's limited to the historical stuff you'd expect from it, but it's a start perhaps?

edit --- oh, you mean free as well as open content? INot that I know of, but I'll have a look. . .

Free or purchase actually.

I ask for OGL in case I want to use it an adventure or other related material. :D

However, if not OGL, I can still use it, but prefer OGL.

Thanks for the lead, I'll take a look at that.

Gah, how could I have forgotten about From Stone to Steel?! Brain. Not. On.

Anyway, it's open content, and has to be the best source for weapons and armour throughout the ages, and to a large extent, throughout the world, for d20 gaming. well, it doesn't do modern / future, but apart from that, yeah.

If you can track down a copy, and you're not unhappy about getting a ton of useful information, illustrations, and rules that mostly don't apply to purely Asian settings, it'll be well worth getting. Hopefully it's come down in price though, since a couple of years ago. . .

Thanks.

Legend of the Samurai definitely looks good and useful. off to read up on the Stone to Steel as well.

Thanks for the helpful direction. :D
