Origins Awards 2006 results

What I am scratching my head over is why they gave out 4 Vanguard Awards when there is really only supposed to be one winner. Why give an award that recognizes 4 out of 5 nominees in the category?

If you are happy with playing D&D and not a big card or board game fan, probably not .
