Disappointed that he is basing it off of material using a Creative Commons license but won't himself release things with a Creative Commons license. Due to that, looks like a pass from me.

they are releasing under an OGL-alike and a Shadowdark-alike, so depending in what you wanted to do, you should be covered. From my (rough) understanding, the one case that is not is creating a new game or expansion and not releasing your stuff under the OGL-alike license

I like the fact the bikes are Smythe sewn, but not the format/shape. As I really don't need another copy of OSRIC, I'll pass, which is a pity as they look good. I'll see what the combined hardcover pod is like in the future, song with shipping etc. Who knows that cost in today's world!

Previous editions of OSRIC do not use weapons vs AC adjustments nor do they use weapon speed factors. I've haven't heard anything about changing that in 3rd edition and it is not listed as a change from 2nd edition in the Backerkit page.
