The artist doing all the interior work (Diana Davidsson) isn't the same as the person who did the cover art (Dan Berger)... but I told her that I wanted this character from the cover in the interior artwork.
So I get this one, and the first thing I mention is the thing with the pants. Davidsson tells me she was just following my instructions and they're like that on the cover art, too.
Now I've had that cover artwork sitting around for three years (originally commissioned for another project that never got off the ground) and never noticed that. ay ay ay!
It stays here because this is a dreamy fairy-picture, so it doesn't much matter. A couple wardrobe adjustments will be made for the rest of the art to make it more going-adventuring friendly.
