So any one out there at work this Thanksgiving?? I am and it sucks.


Pity us those who are home right now.

And I am gathering Thanksgiving isn't a big holiday outside of the US. Is it a normal day for the rest of the world or does it shut down because most of America has a day off

In Canada, our Thanksgiving is in October, so we've already had our turkey day

I wish.

They're making me take two paid holiday days. And not even letting me come in to work on Saturday.

Dang it....

That's the problem of being a union member, in a civil service job.

(I calculated that, with all the vacations, holidays, personal leave, and so on, I have to be gone from work one day out of every two weeks. Not as good as Europeans, mind you, but good for the U.S., for a new employee.)

I just had to work. It sucked double because a certain small-minded coworker came back from vacation tonight. I am not one to hate anyone, but in his case I come very close.
