LOL, it's about the only scene I remember from that movie. The movie overall, I didn't really like.

Hmph.. good news, but I do hope they make it sort of 'Grim'n'Gritty' and not a standard Hollywood flick with huge explosions. Mysterious, bloody and grim it should be.

You can die a happy man after you read the script review on AICN... apparently, the final words of the script hint at at third movie, a conclusion to the trilogy! Also by Milius, hopefully

I did more than enjoy this script. I devoured it. I pray that Warner Bros. is successful enough with LORD OF THE RINGS that they give Milius the greenlight to make this film. It’s an epic adventure he’s written here, and the biggest surprise of the whole thing for me was the last paragraph on the last page, when I realized that Milius is still determined to make his CONAN trilogy. I’ll delete a few names to preserve a bit of mystery about what happens in this film:

Unfortunately, according to www.thearnoldfan.com, the movie probably won't start filming until 2005. So we might have a bit of a wait ahead of us.

I wish schwarzeneger would just give it up. He's finished. I'm happy to see another conan flick but not happy with the starring role.

So the fellow who played a young Conan well isn't the right choice to play an older Conan well (now that he's older)?

Arnold was born to play Conan. It's nice to see him get the chance to play the role once again, and finish out the trilogy that made him an action star.

Except that REH's Conan is not a gigantic mass-monster bodybuilder, shaved down, etc. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Conan the Barbarian immensely, and I enjoyed Ahnuld in it, but it's not the Conan Robert E. Howard wrote.
