after seeing this post, and reading what i wrote again, i realised that it sounds a lot more harsh than i had intended it. in fact, i did watch and like the Reboot series. particularly near the end. what i was trying (apparently unsuccessfully) to say, is that Roughnecks didn't have that cartoony look that Reboot had. there's nothing necessarily wrong with that look, it's just that it seemed targeted at a younger audience. and Roughnecks was a more adult oriented style. that's what i meant to say.
i will admit to seeing a bit of Beast Wars and/or Beast Machines ... but not really seeing enough of either to even be able to tell the difference between the two. then again, what i did see, i didn't think very much of. chalk it up to ignorance then.
