Message: <blockquote data-quote="Mark" data-source="post: 488718" data-attributes="member: 5">Oh, yes, please do add the {OT} tag to the topic/subject line.  You just know if you don't that someone will come along and declare Mister Favre's aligment or stats.Then someone else will insultingly disagree and make some reference to how football players should be treated as if going through an accelerated aging process, claiming that the thresholds for stat changes due to age should come much earlier for them.Another person will make a public plea for tables and DCs to handle steroid usage for d20 modern even though they haven't yet seen the book in their FLGS.Next thing you know someone will bring up that they are reminded of a player they had in one of their games who never missed the beginning of a session, even playing while injured in a lot of cases, but as the campaign wore on he frequently disappointed the other players late in the game.At some point a flurry of posts (between two people with insanely high post counts) will divert the thread to references of There's Something About Mary, including clever disguised mention of "Hair Gel" using asterisks to remove the "e" from the word "sperm" and the "b" from the word "masturbation."Darkness will stop in to chuckle, Piratecat will warn people to stay on topic and MoRuss will mention that they should finally be receiving that film in the UK sometime late next summer.In a feeble attempt to steer the thread back on topic, and showing as little knowledge of entertainment and history as football, someone will mix up Brett Favre, Jim McMahon, Donny Osmond and "John" Smith claiming that Mister Favre has three wives (all Native Americans, who each saved his life) despite the fact that his sister Marie once stuck a fork in his eye...Please, add the tag before all hell breaks loose!Then again, the thread seems to be thriving except for my little foray into lunacy...
