[OT] Cable Modem Users, help me with something

For a college class I'm doing a project involving cable modem pricing, and if possible, I'm trying to get data from the widest source possible.

Basicly, what I need from you folks is (Granted, this only applies to users of cable modems):

Service: IE, how fast you can connect, as most companies have options. Also, any limits you have (XXX megs per day, etc)

Price you pay per month

Where you are located (Country, state... no need to get more specific UNLESS you live in michigan, then specify general area)

What company you go with (COX, Charter, etc)

Thanks!

Should be on your bill, or part of the TOS document or similar. Maybe log onto your account management page on the company website?

most of my bills go directly to a bill manager and come out of an account strictly for that, but i will see what i can find out :)

Upload is capped at 128k, but download speed isn't capped as far as I can tell. No limit on data amounts.

Price you pay per month

Around $45 a month, I'm not sure exactly.

Battle Creek, MI

AT&T, though it's not like there's a choice involved. Most cities have franchising contracts with only one company.

I just ended use of Roadrunner for the South Bay (Los Angeles, CA) region.

I got a speed that varied from 1.5 Mbps to 2.0 Mbps, and it was $44.95 per month (though I got $10 off by having a package with Time Warner Cable).

I never had any trouble with my cable modem, and liked the service.
