I just spent a frustrating two hours trying to get a previously-working PeoplePC connection to work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program four or five times. I rebooted at least a dozen times. No go.
Avoid PeoplePC at all costs. When I called their supposedly 24/7 technical support, I got the run-around on their automated answering system, and got cut off half the time. The other half of the time, I got busy signals.
I'm currently on AT&T Worldnet. It was the only other ISP setup CD I had hanging around. Anything I should know about them? I have a free month, so I have time to change. Thank goodness I had the foresight to set all my personal and business correspondence through Yahoo, or I'd be sending out "oops, sorry, please use THIS address" emails every week or so....
