I read Communion once. I slept with a knife beside my bed for 3 months that summer. The picture freaks me out. Ghosts don't scare me, monsters don't scare me, aliens do. (shrug)

If this bugs you, you would have had real problem with goblins and hobgoblins 700 years ago.

The appeal of "gray" aliens is a mystery to me. I don't understand what people find so fascinating or frightening about them. They just look bad to me.

The fascination is that they look like humans when people have various states of awareness such as oxygen deprivation.

Similar to tunnel vision, this is what people or pictures of people (in a dark room for example) actually look like for our subconscious at certain times. Hence, there is a similarity which people recognize and since it is not conscious recognition, it can be disturbing to some people.

But, it's just your mind messing with you.
