The short story of it. Season 4 was finished and they thought they were going for Season 5 when SciFi gave them the surprise that there was no renewal.

It is a little strange, I thought they would at least cut the episode short before delivering the cliffhanger for "Season 5."

Well when they filmed it they were thinking they had another season, I really don't know what they were thinking when they edited it, but I already went off on that in the other thread.

I signed the petition, and did my raging against the machine. SciFi was just determined to be a bunch of (self-censored to save the Mods stress)!!! No matter what their viewers wanted, it seems.
