That is fascinating stuff! It's always an interesting thing to me to see how "future technology" that we dream up in decades past always plays out. We envision force fields, teleporters, and ray guns. Eventually, we'll get those force fields, teleporters, and ray guns - but they won't be in any form or use we can envision at the time...
