Bought a Gamecube, my first console since the old Sega genesis. I love it. I play Rogue Squadron, Super Smash Bros Melee, and SSX Tricky, all great games. Crazi Taxi is ok, but nothing to write home about.
My decision was based on the fact that I wanted some games my kids could play, (my 4 year old is better than me at Smash Bros), no need for a DVD player, lower price, and reviews of the games from gamespot.com. I love SSX Tricky the most, but I'm pretty sure you can get that on any of the consoles.
My advice is to base your decision on the games that interest you more than the hardware.
