I must admit, I'm a fan of the awfulness of Battlefield Earth. It's like they wrote a list of all the things that people consider to be bad in films...and then crammed them all into one movie.
The Ator films that Miles O'Keefe did are also hysterically bad.
Yor, Hunter From The Future and it's caveman hero hang gliding on the body of a dead, giant bat.
The films of Al Adamson are all pretty good/bad. His most famous movie is Dracula Vs Frankenstein.
Manos: Hands Of Fate is one of the greatest terrible movies ever filmed. But be warned,
only watch the version that Mystery Science Theatre did. Without Joel and the Bots backing you up, you'll tear out your own eyes watching it to stop the horror!
Clones Of Bruce Lee, which features Dragon Lee, Bruce Le, and Bruce Lai as the clones who battle an evil movie director, mad scientist, naked women on the beach, evil stuntmen, karate fighters, a nude female assassin, the 18 Bronze Men, another mad scientist, and their own trainers.
Okay, they don't technically fight the naked beach women. The women sort of just show up at the beach, dance, oil each other up, and molest a nerd. As you can see, their nudity was
necessary to the plot!
As for "Good" B movies, check out Bruce Li's kung-fu flicks. His early ones were pretty bad, but, once he hit his stride, he took off. Fists Of Bruce Lee and Image Of Bruce Lee are both great.
I also love all the horror films Spanish actor Paul Naschy did. He enjoys tossing 2 or more monsters in most of his films. He's got some pretty good combinations out of it, too (Werewolf vs mummy, werewolf vs yeti, etc).
Also, check out the '50's films from Mexico that K. Gordon Murray dubbed into English. The dubbing is pretty bad, but films like Curse Of The Crying Woman and Man And The Monster are pretty damn good.
Murray also brought over a bunch of masked, Mexican wrestler flicks starring El Santo (or "Samson" as he was dubbed). Very cool stuff. My two favorites are Samson Vs The Vampire Women and Santo Vs Dr. Death, the later dubbed, but not by Murray.
