[OT] Happy, happy holiday! :D

Well, I know I am late on this, but a very happy holidays to all of you. The past several days have been very eventful for the Hollingsworth clan, as my 5th child, Preston Davis Hollingsworth, was born at 2:03 pm on December 22nd! He was 10 lbs., 5.3 oz. and was 22 1/4 inches long - both he and his mother are doing very well and we are all finally home as of today.... For those of you that have emailed me (either at my enkwell or bastionpress addies), I will be getting back to you each as time permits. I have little free time right now, but things will get better as the days progress (also, my bastion email was down for several weeks, so I have quite a bit of catching up to do!).

Also of note, I have a new job (which I start on the 20th of Janary) which I am very excited about! For those of you that do not know, I was laid off back in October, so this is very, very good news! I wish a very happy and healthy holiday to each of you and I hope that each of you are as blessed as am I and my family this season!

Yea - they range in age from 14 years to new born, but four of them are all under five. - that's when things really get nuts... I still game, though not as much as I used to, but I also run my own D20 company and am a fairly active freelance writer (as well as Bastion's Art Director), so I guess that kinda makes up for my lack of gaming.

No clone, but boy would I like one sometime. As far as my secrets? Basically, at about number three, I had to begin making decisions as to what was really important in my life - what really brought me happiness, joy, and a sense of completion. As such, I rarely watch TV at ALL anymore - I don't even have cable, in fact, so little do I watch TV. I spend all of my free time (when I am not working) spending time and playing with the kids and the missus, reading, writing, gardening, hiking, and cooking - all of those things make me happy, so that's what I focus my energies on. I do not see the point in wasting precious time (because when you have five kids, EVERY moment is precious) on crap that is not doing me any good...

Also, forget about sleep - those days are gone. Get a schedule, stick to it, and multi-task in EVERYTHING you do. That about sums it up, I guess. Mainly, it is an issue of realiging the way you think - your paradigm, so to speak.
