[OT] How many people read the Meta forum?

Just out of curiousity, I'm wondering how many people do.

If I have the time, I usually check the meta forum. In some rare instances, I've posted into a thread or created an own thread, too.

I'm guessing you're asking because you need some computer help.

Generally Meta is reserved for stuff about the site itself. It's not meant to be a catch-all for other threads.

What I will do, since you've posed a computer question, is slide it over into D&D software. We may be able to get your help there.

Yeah I go there every week or so. I have the feeling it's there mostly as a listening post for the moderators, so that they can discuss messageboard issues with the rest of us. Kind of a complaint department and bulletin board rolled into one.

I'm sure they accept complements about how smoothly the boards are running as well.

Wonders if most of the people who don't read the Meta Forum don't read posts with "Meta" in them.

It's a good place to check every couple of days or so, just in case there are any important issues - technical or otherwise. Also, if you're having trouble with the boards, it's worth checking there first to see if other pepole are having the same problem, and whether he answer/solution is there.

It also means that us mods can see your questions/complaints etc. pretty easily and deal with them. Makes life a lot easier!
