Can you think of that is composed of two first names?

Clark Kent (superman)
Bruce Wayne (Batman)
Hal Jordan (Green Lantern)
Celena Kyle (catwoman)
Charles Xavier (Prof X)
Jean Gray (Jean Gray- as in Gray Davis)
Reno Bryce (Warblade from Wildcats)

any more?

(btw, Selena Kyle is Catwoman :D )

it certainly does seem that DC has that habit. they also like names with same first initial -- Lois Lane, Lana Lang, Lex Luthor...

Whoops-

Peter Parker (spiderman- as in Parker Lewis can't lose)

An older coworker told me that it was a trend in th e60s and 70s. It makes thenames seem more powerful...

They referred to this in an issue of Chase, where the title character was an agent for an intelligence agency that monitored metahumans and superheroes. She was at a party with Bruce Wayne and Alan Scott (the golden age Green Lantern) and mentioned they had a saying at the agency about people with two first names.

They did a story revolving around the LL thing in a Superman comic in the early 70s (there's also Lori Lemoris [sp?], Lightning Lad, Lighning Lass, and Lightning Lord). But Marvel was where most of the alliteration took place; Stan Lee claims it was to help his notoriously bad memory.

There are simply a lot of names that can be used as a first or last name, particularly in Anglo-Saxon tradition. My name, James Blair, can easily be switched and still make sense as a name. Hm, maybe I should consider a career as a superhero...

Alan Scott (Green Lantern I)
John Stewart (Green Lantern III)
Dinah Lance (Black Canary)
Diana Trevor (Wonder Woman - Earth 2, JSA)

Nathaniel Adam
Cameron Scott (both Captain Atom)

Robby Reed
Victoria Grant (both Dial 'H' for Hero)

Kent Nelson (Golden Age Doctor Fate)

John Stewart (a Green Lantern)
Guy Gardner (a Green Lantern/Warrior)

Jay Garrick (Golden Age Flash)
Bart Allen (Impulse)
(There was aother Flash from the future who also fit the pattern)

If we're including females with male surnames:
Diana Lance (Golden Age Black Canary)
Dinah Lance (Modern Black Canary)
Barbara Gordon (Batgirl)
