I'm looking forward to meeting the Canadians again in the Olympic Finals! Actually, I'm stunned. The Canadian team is fantastic yet Sweden won a decisive victory.

MythandLore said:Not really that be a suprise, I think Sweden is favored to gold this year.
Sweden won the gold in 94, Canada was silver that year.
Sweden has done better then Canada in hockey like every modern Olympics.

I wasn't surprised.Mark said:Sweden is not just a victor, but decidedly a victor. That is a surprise, to me at least.

Well, since curling is about the only winter games' sport Denmark is participating in (besides women's eh "pukkelpist" - but our hockey team ALMOST qualified instead of France) so, there's been a lot of curling on the Danish channels. Apparently the women aren't doing too bad (they won silver in Nagano), but the men aren't playing up to their usual standard.
Curling is such a weird sport. But then isn't Bridge a demonstration sport for these games?
