Well, I've lived pretty much my whole life in Iowa. I'm not really used to anything aquatic bigger than my hand, let alone bigger than me.
I'm reasonably brave over all, but I can say with some confidence that I would have completely voided myself. Little bits of Iowa poop everywhere.
I guess im too much of a seasoned Floridian as well. Dolphins suck if you are trying to fish. Youre bein all quiet and sneaky, when a Dolphin comes blastin sonar out of nowhere and drives all the fish away. Then they get all friendly and swim next to you like they helped you somehow. Water pests! thats what they are! Giant 9 foot water rats or somefin. Not that I would ever insult a dolphin to its face, those things can kill sharks with impuny!

In my campaign, dolphins are a sapient pc race. Can't do much on land, though.
