(OT, kinda) God help me. I'm moving to Redding, CA.

Recent events have made it neccessary form me to move from sunny San Diego to Redding, CA. I am forced to leave a great gaming group and have serious concerns regarding the dearth of gamers in far northern California. Any help from friendly natives would be greatly appreciated.

Pity you my friend. Redding is the hot, dry armpit of California. Who did you piss off to earn that sentence?

Don't worry about gamers. I don't live near Redding, but I am a northern Californian. You can't turn over a rock up here without finding at least a Magic player. Who'll then ask you to replace the rock, as he's now allergic to sunlight and clean air. From living under a rock, and all.

Where were we? Oh yeah, Midnight rawks.

Well thanks for the sympathy guys, I'm sure I'll manage, some how.

If any one needs players or even a DM in Redding or the surrounding area shoot me an email (blackdirge@hotmail.com). I would be eternally grateful.:D

You just missed the NorCal Gameday, which took place today in Sacremento. As for finding a group in Redding, I'm afraid I can't help you.

There was a pretty good gaming store in Redding that I'd visit when travelling on the job.

But that went out of business about 2 years ago.

I don't know of anything up there currently.

Aye, too bad about missing NorCal game day. And I feel your pain, I moved from Orange County to Sac (which isn't Redding, but still :) ). It's a darn shame there's so much empty space between cities up here in NorCal. Even Sac's a bit of a drive from Redding. Why can't NorCal be one big city, like everything from Santa Barbara to San Diego in SoCal? :p

Man, that sucks for you! I was born and raised in Redding and Chico.

Make sure your air conditioner works, wherever you live.

Gaming was relatively easy to find in high school. Couldn't help you now though, as I haven't been back on about 2 years.

I used to live there as well. I had a lot of gamer friends in high school. Don't know who you would talk to now. BTW, I don't think Redding is that bad people.. Hot yes, but at least it is dry. I live now in MN where it is 90 degrees with 90 percent humidity. THAT TRULY SUCKS.
