[OT] Looking for gift ideas

Hey folks,

I am looking for a history buffs suggestions on what I should buy a fellow gamer for Christmas, something related to the Civil War that is around 40-50 $$$ and that will be appriciated by a Civil War Buff such as my friend.

I was thinking an antique, or a book from B&N but what is your thoughts ( I could prolly find a sabre from the Civil war erra at a local antique store for around 80 $$$ but that's a little beyond my price range)

Hard to find an authentic antique in that price range, I'd guess. Do they paint or collect minis? Maybe some pre-painted ones might be nice...

Ok update

I just bought him a Civil War erra Sabre letter opener for $ 9.95+shipping. He is quite the new player (though I know he would love mini's) I was perhaps thinking about some other D20 stuff for him as well but as he is a new player I do not know.

I will head on over to the EN world shop and check out some stuff, or maybe do a search on ebay for a good civil war present.

As a new player he might like one of those Green Ronin Character Portfolio thingies (or maybe something along those lines.)
