Brikwars.
An awesome Lego wargame. It's based on rolling Skill, 1d6+some mods, against UR (user rating). If you just multiply all Skill and URs by three, then converty it into d20s + mods, then there you go: a d20 lego wargame.
Of course, you could just play Brikwars. The creator, Mike Rayhawk, is really a nice guy, we discussed setting up a kinda joke-brikwars d20 page: 3 pages of intro by him, 3 pages of intro by me, 10 pages of SRD, 10 pages of LEGO legal disclaimer, with the above paragraph somewhere in the middle. Haven't gotten around to it yet, though.
Presently, there are 2 good versions to look at: the 2000 rules on the web, and the 2001 rules in .pdf format. The main difference is vehicle construction.
The rules are totally flexable, allowing you to build anything of any TL (tech level). It ranges from TL 0, Grog smash large rock, to TL 7, where Jo Average warps reality to get more time to play DnD, and everything imbetween. Castle is TL 2, Space is Tl 5-6. Technically, TLs 0 and 7 are implayable, as in the former it's just borring, and the latter is just *WAY* to much technology. I'd reccomend TLs 2, for castle, 3, for pirate, and 6, for space.
There is also a page of write-ups of Brikwars battles. Hilariously funny. Read "The Battle of Tank Stream," by some australian guys, first. It's great.
It's written in a very tounge - in - cheek tone, and the 2001 version has quotes from Machiavelle's "The Prince," Sun Tzu's "The Art of War," and varius lines of Easy Eddy's.
Personally, I just love this game, and leapt at this chance to pimp it. I have a few supplements written up, as well as some simplifications and modifications. For those of you who can't put up with all of Brikwars's rules, the site also has a page of links to other Lego wargames. If you like Pirate, Steve Jackson games has a free game with an online rulebook, "Evil Stevie's Pirate Game."
