Dremen: Could you please post a link or point me to the section of the Sword Forum page that has the Ranger sword? I can't make much sense of their catalog, and haven't been able to find it.

I have Sting and it is wonderful. I highly recommend it. A friend has Glamdring and Narsil. I found Glamdring to be too blade heavy, and Narsil was a bit as well. Though I think with an actual steel pommel on Narsil, it would balance out.
I have not seen Gimli's Ax in person, but would love to. I have a thing for axes...
What I really want to see is Boromir's blade. I thought it was the coolest in the movie!

Bud K has the best prices I've seen so far on the LotR replica swords.

I agree that BudK has the best "retail" price of the swords but you can get them cheaper on eBay and not just through auctions. I lot of sellers have eBay stores where you can "Buy It Now". As an example one of the seller has Narsil at the "BIN" at $139 which is $60 cheaper then Bud K has it. His shipping is $15 IIRC. I got my Narsil for 142.50 with free shipping and insurance from one seller and got the Witchking's Sword for around the same price. Both are 199.95 + shipping from Bud K.

Well, I personally wouldn't buy any of them, but that's just me.

Why? Well, first off, I won't spend $200 on a stainless steel sword, even if I don't really plan on using it. But I'm just a freak that way, so it probably isn't a good reason for you.

My other reason is that they all say "Lord of the Rings" on the blade, near the handle. I hate when they do that. To me, at least, it ruins the display value of the sword, even if you're going to hang it with that side not showing, 'cuz you can't take them down without it being visible.

It's a shame, too. If they didn't have that stupid black print on them, I might have broken my first rule and bought Narsil.
