Congratulations!

And enjoy the leprosy museum!:D

Now there's a congratulatory wedding sentiment you don't see every day :)

Good luck to you two Daniel, hope your marriage works as well as my Grandparent's and Parent's (and better than mine ;))

Thanks, you guys! You're an inspiration. I hope all y'all married couples stay as happy as I am (and I hope Sharon and I just get happier).

Hong, I gotta hope you're wrong and Clay's right about the hair thing: her hair's only as long as it is because I'm a sucker for long hair and she's indulgent. Used to be a pixie cut.

Buttercup, I'm sure we'll enjoy the leprosy museum. Even now I'm trying to think of tasteless puns to make about it.

Mirthcard, we gotta get together and game sometime. Didn't we try once before and our schedules wouldn't sync up? Maybe we can figure it out at some point.

Sorry, Nem! But if it makes you feel better, our love will be the tragic forbidden love of a gothic novel, as we gaze upon one another across the distances of space and through the thorny walls of the law.

Viking Bastard, I figure it suffices for us to know which one's the bride. If we couldn't figure that out, we'd've had no business getting married. :D

Everyone else, thanks again -- your good wishes mean a lot to us!

Daniel

[HIJACK] Yes, we definitely should. I think the problem was that I wasn't available to game as often as you do - once a week or once every two weeks. I could only commit to about once a month. Even though I'm unemployed now (you don't know anyone who's hiring do ya? ), the weekends are still the only time that my wife and I have off together, so they're kiind of precious to us. I'd still be up for a once-a-month game and I could even run it. I'm jonesing so hard to play, it kills me that I can't commit to a heavier schedule. I did meet the father of one of the kids in my son's daycare class who is a gamer and he's trying to put together a game over the summer (maybe at UNCA??), but again it looks to be a weekly game, which I just can't manage. I haven't talked to him about it yet... Man, to be back in high school, college, hell even grad school and have all that time on my hands to game. I never realized how good I had it. [/HIJACK]

Feel free to email me if you want mirthcard@yahoo.com. And remind me if we do eventually meet face to face, not to shake your hand after the visit to the leprosy museum :D

So, is this thread congrats to Daniel, or a chance to chime in and say how long we've been married? :D

In any case, 1) Congratulations! 2) 9 years in a few weeks.

Congrats to the lucky bride and groom!

Having been married for 17 years myself, let me give you a piece of advice given to me by my uncle at our rehearsal dinner: "You'll never discover true happiness before you're married. And afterwards, it's too late." :D

Just kidding! I hope you and your wife have many happy years together. And you're right, being married does rock!

Congrats on your leprosy, and have fun at the wedding museum!

no, wait...that's not right...
:-)
Nell.

Who is due to be married in little over a month.
