They forgot cell phones.
I saw the Wilco documentary I Am Trying to Break Your Heart last week, and there was a wonderful statement made in an interview with David Fricke, a Senior Editor at Rolling Stone:
"These days you've got people standing around talking on cell phones, and the gist of the conversation is, 'I'll be there in five minutes.' Who gives a f*ck?! Just be there in five minutes!"
