How do I change it?

In a really final way, for the moment. But it's not all doom and gloom (and other words ending in -oom), I found out today that I'm only £167 overdrawn at the bank, and my credit card only has around £2000 on it. I thought I was much worse off...sigh.

I know the feeling, Tallarn. I've been out of work for the last 6.5 months. My unemployment ran out. I'm up for four civil-servant jobs, but they're really slow about it. (Takes about 2 to 3 months from start to finish.)

Luckily, I have about $1600 saved, my car loans are paid up through November, my student loan will probably be placed on deferment again (what with me taking classes and all), I am stuck at home living with the folks so rent is cheap, and I think I can manage two months without much worry. After that, I'm going to have to break into a bunch of savings I've set aside (income taxes set aside for next year, money saved for a security deposit for my next apartment, and so on), since my car insurance comes due at the end of the year. Ugh. It went up 9% last year. I wonder how much they'll jack it up this year. And I haven't been in any accidents this year. The accident last year wasn't even my fault, and they still jacked it up.
