[OT] Question of the week

Most events of historical value that you could travel back in time and witness would be of little use, in the long run, as no one would believe you had made the journey. I'd settle for making the trip a profit-making venture, by reading up on a few treasure fleets (Captain Kidd), the lost Dutchman's mine, or the purported location of Atlantis. Then I'd go back to witness the event in question and commit the location to memory.

Dallas, TX, 1963. I would want to either be on that grassy knoll or just somewhere where I can see what really unfolded when Kennedy was assassinated.

Can you fill me in on this? I take it nobody's ever been able to duplicate the porcelain made at that time?

Or if you want to really make money find out where Ghengis Khan was buried. That should leave you in a position to but a country or two.

How long could this journey take? Could I for instance stay for 2 weeks and then skip 20 years look again and then go back?

For me it would be the creation of the universe, as a die-hard atheist it's probably a wise decision to check if I'm right or not ;). Plus I'm a physics fan so seeing the big bang (and at the same time proving it right) would be something truly spectecular.

And maybe 0AD to...
