Not to mention the impact on human beings...

And not to burst your bubble or anything, he's NOT the first 'cyborg', there have been many experiments (as early as the seventies) to use electroics to enhance/compensate human beings. Cybernetic eyes is just one example...

We can rebuild him...better than he was before...better...stronger...faster...

:D

What exactly are the qualifications that a mechanical or electronic device has to meet in order to be defined as "cybernetic"? IIRC, a device is cybernetic if it's implanted in the body and hooked into one or more organs or tissues and directly interacts with them or operates as a substitute for such. Cochlear implants, pacemakers, and artificial hearts are all cybernetic.

If something is cybernetic, then its host is a cyborg, plain and simple. A "Cyborg" is by definition an organism with cybernetics.

We grow closer are closer into the Brave New World day by day.

Lets just hope microsoft doesn't use windows technology in cybernetics; because if they do then Blue Screen of Death and Multiple Fatal Error messages will take on a WHOLE new meaning
