That is awesome news on both fronts. As the father of two girls let me tell you, there is no other feeling in the world in knowing that you were the first man to love that new, beautiful little girl. Best wishes to all of you!

Congratulations Spencer. I envy you your new home, because my family (wife and 2-yr-old daughter) are saving up for one of our own. A baby girl is a precious thing; but I, like another poster mentioned, am wrapped around my daughter's finger rather tight.

What is it with fathers and their baby girls?

Wow! I can totally empathise; my 2nd child was born in January and I've been living with my parents to save up to purchase a house; have just signed contracts and should be looking to move in late October too!
