One thing to keep in mind, from my experience when I joined the Core Rulebook Share the Love (tm) back when the 3.5 came out:

The 10% discount, by some strange coincidence, kept going and going and going. Not just for the core rulebooks, but also for everything else I bought for about a month after that.

No. You only get one credit per book, regardless of the number of buddies who buy it off of your reference. You also have only 30 days to use your credits.

I would also like to note that while I have always gotten the 10% for receiving the love, I have never gotten the credit for giving the love. The same is true for a friend of mine.

No moral to the story. Just my experience.

So, at most, I'll get 10% off on selected books?

Methinks I'll have to look through the order, and decide which stuff I want to buy now, and which stuff will have to wait a month or two... It might be cheaper to buy some of this stuff on eBay or through Amazon's marketplace... Especially if, as PhNinja says, the credit doesn't show up.

Now that's odd. I'm pretty sure I bought AU and Testament from you sharing the love for them with me.

Someone on another thread mentioned that if you share the love and then cancel your order, you still get credit. They suggested starting a share the love, cancelling your order, and then having the people you shared it with share it back at you, so you get both the credit and the 10% discount. Not that I would ever advocate such a scam, of course.

I'm glad to hear that people did take advantage of that, but I never did get that ($4 or so) credit from Amazon. It's enough to make me want to support my FLGS.

Hmm, its a nice offer, but I'll decline. I prefer to support my local FLGS...and they offer 15% off everything, and special order stuff. Sometimes, if its late, they'll bump it up to 20%.
