(OT sorta) Casting Call

Well I figured with the endless 3.5 debates and short everyone is because of it, we should do something fun but not to rules heavy. So lets cast a movie, maybe eventually we will turn this into a poll if we get enough responses.

Lets pick between....

Forgotten Realms?? Pick a series or triology.

I had always said Christopher Walkin for Raistlin. But now, I am not sure if I wouldn't rather have Willem Dafoe...

It's all about Raistlin, isn't it... All the other actors are secondary.

What about Brad Dourif? Or is he too obviously evil?

The trick is is that he's gotta be young.

Okay, here we go...

Tanis Half Elven: Eowen McGregor (serious but can still crack a one-liner)

Sturm Brightblade: Brad Pitt (brooding but has presence) or possibly Liam Neeson (just can't quite see it though)

Goldmoon: Marina Sirtis (has the acting talent to pull it off)

Riverwind: Jae Lee (tough role to cast but Lee has a quiet presence about him)

Raistlin: Nicolas Cage (could be the perfect evil Raistlin, especially with the interactions with his brother)

Caramon: The Rock (he has the muscles, but not sure if he could pull off the tenderness of Caramon without it looking hokey)

Flint Fireforge: Gene Hackman (there would be no better old, dour dwarf than Hackman)

Tasslehoff Burrfoot: Brandon Fraser (happy go lucky attitude perfect for the role)

I was going for choices of actors whose style of acting would fit the part or where the role would bring out the best in them...

Ok here is my own. This will be difficult to the fact that I don't know to many names of actors and most will be this guy who played so and so in this movie...Onward

Tanis: I think Eowen McGregor would make a good one too, or maybe the guy from that the 13th warrior that called Banderas "Little Brother" all the time.

Sturm: This is a tough one perhaps Kurt Russell he definitely has the build and can gro the moustache for it(Tombstone).

Goldmoon: Kristy Swanson, or

Riverwind: Perhaps Kevin Sorbo, or

Raistlin: Stuart Townsend, or Commodus from Gladiator

Caramon: Tom Welling though he would probably have beef up a bit. Though the Rock definitely has the build for it. The guy that played Collussus in Xmen 2 might be a good breakthrough roll for him

Flint Fireforge: Tough cast the guy that played Gimli on lord of the Rings is pretty good or the one from the D&D movie not so great as it was would fill the roll in nicely

Tasslehoff: Elijah wood or Haley Joe Osmond(??)
