Oh yeah! I almost forgot that was slipped in there. Seems an anfully high ticket commercial for a sequel of a movie that wasn't all that big in the first place. I mean, I can understand tosses in that kind of cash for a Matrix or Teminator sequel, but a cop buddy movie...?
wasn't that big?

Bad Boys was produced for around $20 million

it grossed $140 million+

Sony Pictures likes big money :D

and even though i kinda liked Bad Boys, the commercial for BBII just wasn't that good. well, it wasn't Superbowl commercial good :p

What a great game! Oakland was definitely robbed of two points, but in the end... what would it have mattered?

Man, Raiders got the living crap beat out of them. They only got their act together once in the second half - the rest of the time the Buckaneers just walked all over them.

Pity they don't show the commercials on Danish TV. Oh, and the half-time show sucked, IMO.

I hadn't realized the profit margin was that high. I doubt they copuld make the sequel for that much given how much they'd have to pay the stars, alone...

i doubt they could make the sequel for that much given what they'd have to pay Wil Smith! (which is like, $20 million) :p

SHANIA TWAIN LIP-SYNCHED. I repeat, I caught her country hiney lip-synching.

I liked Message in a Bottle. Poor Sting: tougher to hit the high notes when you're not 21, i'nt it?

Now that the raiders lost, the riots in oakland are going to start. Its gonna be a sucky night for the bay area. Of course, if they won they would have rioted even harder...

I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the game--was doing calculus homework (fun fun.... bleagh...) with my best friend (she and i MAKE calculus fun :D )... on and off throughout the entire thing--but what I did see was interesting enough. The commercials were great this year... I really don't remember any of them from last year, but i seem to remember they weren't all that great.

The Sierra Mist ad with the dog and the hydrant is great, and of course, the trailers for The Matrix and the Hulk.... what else....the Dodge ad with the guy choking is pretty good too...can't really think of any others that are standing out in my mind at the moment.
