Square A and Square B have the EXACT same color. If you don't belive it, edit the image in a photo program...

You can see that they are the same color if you squint.

Actually all of the 'things' in this thread can be "Debunked" (for lack of a better term), if you squint.

IMO, the shadow has a lesser effect than the white border around the checkboard OR the shading of the letters denoting the squares as 'A' and 'B' respectively.

And for what it's worth, that is a wicked-cool illusion!!

I did not have access photoshop because I am at work, so I cut two holes in a piece of paper to isolate the squares.

Don't do it, for the sake of humanity, that thing will give anyone who glances at it a headache. Even now I am still seeing spots.
