[OT] Titan, the Wargame

An old gaming buddy who lives out-state was visiting for the first time in a few years this weekend and we dragged out the old, battered Titan box and managed to play two games (only because the first one ended rather quickly when I killed the Titan stack of my cousin (who was also over))

The second game wasn't really finished, but was close - it came down to a battle between two titan stacks. Was fun. Too bad we only had about 3 hours to play.

Really too bad he lives in Maryland now.

I love the Kinzia card game "Titan" that came out a few years ago, too, but the original war game is totally different. It been well over a decade since I played

Ah Titan, good memories...

Like the time a couple of us were playing a looong session at a friend's appartment. Well after midnight, said friend had all but dropped out of the race, but managed to hole up her few remaining forces in a pretty unassailable position. So she decided to go to bed while me and a second player fought for for control. We played on all through the night, and finally managed to destroy each other a little after sunrise. So we woke up our gracious host for breakfast and told her she had won the game!
