You've got my condolences as well, Angelsboi. You know, a lot of people believe everything happens for a reason, but it's things like this that make me believe otherwise. But I hope you can find at least some good in this crappy hand that you've been dealt.

Oh, man... I'm so sorry to hear that.

Be strong, take care, don't let it ruin who you are.

I'll cry for you- hell, I already am. :( :( :(

If there's anything I can do, email me.

It's hard to say the right thing in person in a situation like this, let alone over a text medium. I wish I had the right words, but I don't. Be strong, and good luck.

It's not enough to say this really, really sucks, but I'm not going to trip the filters and put a chain of smileys in the post. I'm sorry, Angel.

Our sympathies, Ryan. This well and truly blows.

As someone else said, please please follow the doctor's advice and take the recommended meds. The healthier you are, the more you get to game. :)

I am sorry to hear about your news, Angelsboi. I haven't really talked to you on the website, but I've read many of your posts and really appreciated that you were willing to be so open about yourself and kind of clear the air for other gay people to be realize they could be comfortable in this online community at ENWorld. Take care of yourself and follow a strict regimen on whatever meds and other medical advice you get from your doctor. I have a friend who was diagnosed HIV positive almost twenty years ago and had full blown AIDS by 1994 and was near death in the hospital ten years ago, but then he started on the new meds available and made such a great recovery. He has followed his treatment with great discipline. For ten years now he has stayed very healthy and has lived a very happy and rewarding life. If anything, he seems more alive and healthy than ever, perhaps because he doesn't take life or health for granted as most of us tend to do from time to time. The two of us just hiked a mountain out west this week, and he is stronger and healthier than most of the HIV negative folks around him, including me.
I'm sure this is a scary time for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Be well.

Ditto, bud.

And remember, there are far too few gaymers here, so don't you even think this changes anything, grl! Your presence on these boards is expected and required, ya hear that? Don't even think this gives you a hall pass, cuz we are takin' roll!

M! M! M! and a double snap--* * !!

It is the hard times that bring out our best assets. I wish for you all of the hope and courage that you will need now. I'm very sorry to hear about this and hope that research will continue to improve our understanding and defeat this virus.
