[OT] To All Who Know Me ... Sad News

*HUGS*

I'll keep ya in my thoughts, man. And, as has been said, HIV is not AIDS, and you've got your fiancee there to help you, so I'm certain you've got a full life ahead of ya. Be safe.

Things like this make the real world much realer, I shan't say to much otherwise it sounds like someone died. Good like on beating all the trouble it causes.

My heart goes out to you, Angelsboi - Angel of the Boards.

I hope you can take some solace in the knowledge that, as zoroaster100 and Amrynn Moonshadow have pointed out, people can live over 20 years with HIV. Medical advances are being made continually. There's every chance you'll live another 50 years or more.

One last thing: you may want to print out this thread and keep it safe. In the tough times to come, it may help to be reminded that there are a lot of people here who care about you tons.

Let us know how you're bearing up.

Thinking of you,

Z

I would but my printer is broke. I was going to see if i can have it archived once its done. I have the link on my Livejournal.

Its really good to know how i have affected everyones life on here. You always think you are someone special but its hard to really know on an online community.

Now i know how much i mean to people.

Thank you.

the important thing to remember is that you're alive now - and don't forget it. and there are always people who love you and will stick beside you and they need you as much as you need them!

best of luck!

Haven't said anything yet because I don't know what I should say. This hits hard, man. Just... stay healthy (that goes for everyone else, too!) and never give up, take your meds, and know that we're all pulling for you. Please be responsible and be safe, everyone.

I think back in the middle ages, there was a holy order of knights, like the Knights Templar, except that they all had leprosy.

That's true. They were the Knights of St Lazarus.
