Not a favorite band of mine, but I own a couple of records myself and have listened to many from friends.

Toto's "IV" is acknowledged as their best result, and includes favorites like Africa and Rosanna.

My favourite is Toto's "I": considered immature by many, it's definitely the most various of their albums, from the instrumental Child's Anthem to the classic radio rock Hold the Line to the cool-rhythmed Georgy Porgy. It may not satisfy a casual listener or someone who's looking for easy melodies (although some track are), but as a music devourer and player myself I can easily say that it's their most interesting album.

Beside, avoid completely any album from the 90's. They are uninspired and ill-conceived.
