Well, I can't say I'm a big fan of most radio music. I stick to the indie stuff pretty religiously, but man is the radio catching up. I fell in love with Jimmy Eat World back in '98 and now they're all over the place. Same with Dashboard Confessional, in 2000, and he blew up about a year later. And Finch.. well.. I'm expecting them to explode onto TRL or something any day now.

Incidentally, my sig. is a couplet from the Thursday song Understanding in a Car Crash. Nothing significant in itself but one of the few instances of a decent phrase I've found in a song.

I notice a lot of people are into heavier stuff (mostly radio heavy but still). I encourage you ALL to check out Thrice's newest album The Illusion of Safety. It is DAMN good.

I love Digitally Imported too. I'm having a problem with the machine I'm using at my new job now though.

When I try to queue up streaming music like digitallyimported.com or anything from Shoutcast.com Winamp just sits there and won't actually play anything.

I currently have 32.72gigs of MP3s on my iBook, (19.8 of which is also copied on my iPod), and then another 1500+ CDs in my CD cases.

Musical taste spans the genres. Though there is alot of European Groups, Folkish, Emo, ID4, Grunge, and other oddball/alt bands, singers, groups.

that happened to me when i got my new comp... try setting every audio file to winamp... i think thats how i fixed it
